Straight Pin

From the Collection

Two wooden pin setters used to straighten pins on the wool combs. They could also be used to remove short fibers in the wool. Their design is not dissimilar to wooden clothes pins. The pins were donated by Arnold Wilder (1909-2009) in 2002. He was a Westford Academy Graduate, railroad history enthusiast, and WA Trustee, and member of the Westford Historical Commission. For more info, see his class ring.
