Unframed acrylic portrait of Grace Atwood Millett (1889-1971). At least one other portrait of Grace exists. She was the mother of Westford artist, William Atwood Millett (1922-2007), who often signed his work as WM or Millet. Grace lived in Westford throughout her life, and was married to Nathan Millett (1871-1955). Grace was also a nurse in town, practicing from 1912 to the 1950s.
The portrait was donated by the J.V. Fletcher Library in 2020.
