The aged brown booklet contains information on WA such as teacher and students for the year ending July 14, 1858. It also describes the curriculum at the time. Note that the Principal at the time was John D. Long (1838-1915). He went on to have a long political career, which included serving as Governor of Massachusetts from 1880 to 1883. The booklet was donated by past Westford resident Allister MacDougall, one of the museum’s founders.
