Photograph of Westford’s J.V. Fletcher library, as it looked around 1965. The present “wings” on either end would not be added until the 1988 renovation, which was the most recent as of 2022. The institution is set to start a new renovation and expansion project to be conducted within the next few years. The photograph was taken by Ann (Hansen) Kirk (1942-2016). She was a lifelong resident of Chelmsford, as well as a teacher in Westford for 39 years.
