Burbeck Parlor

Burbeck parlor 1920
From the Collection

Photo of the Burbeck home parlor, as it looked around 1920. “Vinebrook Farm” was owned prior by Edmond Baker, whose family owned the Baker Chocolate Company (now owned by Kraft). The farm was sold to Samuel Burbeck (1805-1891) in 1836. George Drew (1828-1906), a carpenter, built the still standing Greek Revival farmhouse in 1872. Samuel’s son, William Henry Harrison Burbeck (1840-1917) grew up there, and later owned the property. The Westford Regency purchased the property in the early 1980s. They maintain the historic home as their Carriage House for longer stays.
