Site Plan

One of 12 surveyor plans of 62 Main St, the Donald Cameron House. They were made by Caroline M. Whitney and Smith & Brooks Civil Engineers dated July 28, 1908, for Donald McLennan Cameron (1873-1930), who worked at the Abbot Worsted Company. The house itself was built in 1893 by architects Davi and Rayne of the Hildreth Building in Lowell. In 2016, the house was heavily damaged by fire in the attic, destroying the roof. The property was purchased by the town two years later, splitting off a portion of the property for a future Town Hall parking expansion. In 2021, the residential portion was ultimately sold, with MA historic preservation restriction, to private owners.
