Welcome to the 3rd Grade Virtual Tour of the Westford Museum

In September 1729, a town rich in history and full of beauty was established. It was adorned with trees, hills, brooks, and ponds. These were simpler times, with fewer than 100 families calling this town home.

The American Revolution further shaped the history of our town, as many of our townsfolk were called to serve in the war. The mills, quarries, and farms contributed to the development of what our town has become.

Today, more than 26,000 people from all walks of life reside here. We are unique, just like our original settlers, and we continue to uphold the proud heritage that has endured for nearly 300 years.

Those passing through refer to it as a beautiful New England town called Westford. Those of us fortunate enough to live here are happy to call it home.
