This spring, the WHS offices hosted 3 senior interns from Westford Academy. Jack worked with collections and helped with the 3rd grade tours. Nick worked in the Museum Shop, updating labels and getting our tablet set up for online sales. Michael produced a narrated bike tour of Westford. (We’ll update this post when it’s available online.)
In addition to their time in the office learning about museum operations and non-profit management, Jack and Nick both conducted oral history interviews. Jack interviewed Westford Academy Theater Arts teacher Michael Towers about what it was like as a WA student in the 1980s. Nick interviewed Ellen Harde about her experiences getting recycling going and working here in Westford.
