All interest centers on our home boys enlisted and drafted into service, most of whom are in Ayer. Their immediate families and their many friends take the greatest interest in all that concerns them, and they are most welcome when leave of absence gives them chance to visit their home people and other friends.

Mrs. H. V. Hildreth, president of the local Red Cross, gave a report of the summer’s work for the local branch, which was a fine showing of membership, money contributed and work accomplished.
