Commemorative Coin
Copper coin commemorating the bicentennial in 1975. It was given to parade participants. It belonged to Kenneth Andrew Bagley (1956-1989), who was the son of Elwin Bagley (1926-2014). They were both originally of Holland, MA. Elwin was a WWII veteran, and served on the USS Piedmont. He moved to Westford after 1954, becoming an active member of the community. Actives included being a member of the Westford Historical Society and a charter member of the Westford Colonial Minutemen. He was in charge of the Minutemen during Westford’s 1975 bicentennial celebrations.
