Black and white photo taken at the still standing Day House on 47 Graniteville Rd. What was known as the “bee house” is shown, and the structure was later used as a photo shop by Quincy Day (1867-1933), whose photos are at the museum today. The house’s deeds were traced back to 1820 by local historian Marilyn Day, while a dated beam in the cellar suggests the house was built in 1760s. John Warren Day (1837-1900) owned the house by 1875. It remained in the family well into the twentieth century.
