Coin
Copper coin commemorating the bicentennial in 1975, given to parade participants. It belonged to Kenneth Andrew Bagley (1956-1989), who was the son of Elwin Bagley (1926-2014). They were both from Holland, MA. Elwin was a WWII veteran, and served on the USS Piedmont. He moved to Westford after 1954, becoming an active member of the community. He was a member of the Westford Historical Society, member of the Westford VFW, and a charter member of the Westford Colonial Minutemen. During Westford’s bicentennial celebrations, he was in charge of the Minutemen from 1974 to 1975.
