Pen and ink drawing of Glacier Hill Farm. It was drawn by Deb Tingley, based on a photo sent to her in 1988 by the drawing’s doner,. This farm was the Flagg property on Howard Rd, not far from the Littleton, MA, border. Maurice (1894-1957) and Maude Adams Flagg (1891-1973) owned the then 200 acre property from 1924 to 1947, according to the letter accompanying the drawing. After, according to Find a Grave, they lived in Littleton.
Howard Rd historically connected to Flagg Rd, but that section ceased being a town way in 1968. Today, Flagg and Howard Roads are still connected, via Kelly Rd, by a private path. The nearby Glacier Hill is roughly located at Chicory Rd and Rosebud Ln, next to I-495.
