Photo of home of Lt. Nahum Wight (1735-1834), who served in the Revolution. He served under Captain Benjamin Bullard, and marched on Concord in 1775, as well as a as part of the Continental Army. After living in Medfield for most of his life, he moved to Westford where is son, Caleb (1786-1864), lived. The Lyon House (Wright House) was built around 1717 on what is now Groton Rd, where it meets with North St. It was prior the home of Jacob Wright (1698-1761), who lived there by 1730, according to tax lists. The house was torn down in 2000 to make way for at least two new houses.
