His wife, Ethel (1923-2015), is looking out the window. The store was previously run by Lucien L. Daunais (1908-1978), starting by 1962, while the store was considered “new” in 1900. Arthur purchased the business in 1970, running the store until he retired in 1999. The building changed hands more than once before being converted into apartments in the early 2000s.
