The League of Women Voters of Westford’s next Civic Social will give residents an opportunity to talk with Town Moderator Angela Harkness and Town Clerk Laurie Shaw in a casual environment prior to Town Meeting on Saturday, April 27. T
Residents may have questions with regard to voter accessibility, meeting logistics, procedures, and so on. Town Meeting – moved from March 23 due to overcrowding – will now be held on the Westford Academy Trustees Field at 9:00 a.m. The rain date is Sunday, April 28, at the same time.
Civic Socials are the League’s informal monthly get-togethers, open to everyone, where people can learn what’s happening in and around town and about what the League is doing. The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan, issues-oriented organization – open to all – that encourages informed and active participation in government.
