It’s 31st December, 2020 – the day the whole world is reflecting on the year gone by. And what a year it was! By the time you read this letter, you will probably have already heard many stories about how 2020 was unlike any other year, and probably also that it was the most awful year ever. Surely, this was a year full of turmoil and tragedy for many, but there was also a lot of positive transformation. Most importantly for our family, it was also the year that you were born, which makes it the most special year of our lives. You’re five months old now, with a smile that lights up the room, and eyes that are full of wonder. Your world starts and ends with Daddy, me and our home and you’re completely unaware of just how different everything is in the outside world. Just know that the world will be a better place when you grow up and we all emerge from this.
