Featured Artifact of the Week

Christmas Screen

The screen, made around 1920, is made of thin wood slats, held together by cord. It advertised Wasil Sedach’s store in Westford’s Forge Village. The theme is Japanese, while it wishes a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Wasil Sedach was born in Poland 1887, and died in Westford 1954.

The screen was donated by Gertrude Membrino in 2003.
