Search for a new Director

After 13 years of dedicated service to the WHS and the community at large, our Museum Director, Penny Lacroix, has decided that it is time to retire from her position and transition into a new career. At the conclusion of the successful 5 year “Westford Villages” cycle, and after spending the next few months with her team completing the creation and installation of two new permanent exhibits for the museum, she will be stepping down in November to follow her passion as a fiber artist and teacher.

Under Penny’s leadership, the museum has been taken to a higher level in many ways, from collections management and preservation to public outreach.  More to come on her accomplishments and contributions in the coming months.  In the meantime, we have begun the search for a new director. A posting for the position can be found here.
