Poppy Project for Festival of Trees

We need your help creating crocheted and knitted poppies as decorations for the Westford Historical Society’s Family-Fun Festival of Tree to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the First Armistice Day and remember those lost in World War I.

The patterns are below and we will need 100 poppies by Sunday December 2nd.

When you’re done making your creations, please drop completed poppies off with Linda at the Westford Museum, 2 Boston Rd. Monday, Wednesday and Fridays 9am-1pm or Sundays 2-4pm. While you are there, check out our new exhibits!

Thank you for your help in making sure our Westford Veterans are never forgotten.

Bring your knitting needles or crochet hook and drop by the Westford Museum this
Sunday November 4th 2-4pm to make a poppy or two for our WWI remembrance tree.
Yarn will be supplied.
