The Millett Family
Framed photograph of the Millett family around 1882. The family name was also spelled with one T. Seated in front, on the left, is Mary E. (French) Millett, on the right, Henry S. Millett. Standing, left to right, are Nathan W., William F., and Henry S. Jr. Nathan is the father of William Atwood Millett (1922 – 2008). Nathan needed to wear a platform shoe, which is visible behind his mother’s chair. William “Bill” Millet was a local artist, and last of the Atwood-Carlton-Millett family to live in Westford.
