Hidden History-MacDougall Ski Hill”

MacDougall Ski Hill

From 1957 to the late 1960s, the MacDougall family from Boston Road operated a ski tow right here on this hill. The tow was powered by a 1946 Ford V-8 motor. It operated on weekends, and later on weeknights after lights had been added. It was where most Westford children learned to ski. The ski hill stopped at the edge of Boston Road where skiers parked their cars.
