Historic House Print

From the Collection

Print of 224 Concord Road in Westford, originally taken in 1912, of the Henry Fletcher house. Henry was born in Chelmsford in 1778, and built the house in Westford around 1810. He was married to Huldah Spaulding (1777–1854). He died in 1861. The house itself is a later example of Georgian-style design, having a central chimney. Other owners included William Edward Symmes (1841-1914) from 1887 to 1929, and Richard and Alan Emmet in the 1950s. It still stands today as one of the town’s historic houses, with only minor changes to the exterior. Google Maps
