Come spin with us – or just visit!
The Annual St. Distaff Day Celebration will be held on Sunday January 6, 2019, 1-5 pm at the Museum. Following the 12 Days of Christmas, medieval European tradition was for the women to return to work before the men, resulting in a demi-holiday, where much fun could be shared. All are invited to this final event of the holiday season! Guests and visitors are welcome as well.
What to bring:
• Your wheel or spindle, and fiber (assuming you want to spin!)
• Something for the silent auction to benefit the Westford Museum (optional)
• Snack to share (optional) • Cash or checkbook for your silent auction purchases
• A skein of handspun yarn for some fun and games (Your yarn will not be harmed in any way!)
