Regulator Railroad Clock Restoration Fund

Help Restore our Regulator Railroad Clock!

Front Face

The clock was made by the Seth Thomas Clock Company and was donated to the Museum by the J.V. Fletcher Library in 1983. Similar clocks would have been operating within the railroad stations in town.

The weights are no longer present, and the adjustable rod of the pendulum is sitting on the bottom of the interior. As well as time, the clock included the complexities of the day of week and month.

We have received an estimate of $750 from Richard Ketchen of  the Clock Repair in Carlisle MA  to restore it. It would be a wonderful feature to the Westford Museum to have the clock fully functional and operational! Please consider making a donation to the restoration fund
