Framed Photograph

Photograph of Charles G. Sargent (1819-1878). He founded the C.G. Sargent & Sons Co, which existed from 1852 to 1990. The company primarily built machinery for processing textiles, particularly wool drying. Sargent also co-founded the Abbot Worsted Co in 1855 with John W.P. & John W. Abbot (father & son). In 1990, the Sargent and Sons went bankrupt, and was bought out by Aeroglide, which later became part of the Buhler Group.
